Dressed to the 9's
in the latest Christmas fashions, santa hat and flashing collar,
Caemon was the best ambassador I could ever hope for. It seemed
either he got to pull the biggest kids, or the tiniest ones, but he
knew somehow the difference and pulled slow or fast accordingly.
After the rides I gave each child a cookie or piece of cheese for
Caemon, he would ever so softly take it from thier hand, and then in
true Caemon fashion.....steal a kiss! The kids and parents
alike thought this was quite a treat. Many asked, "what
kind of dog is he?" upon the reply of Rottweiler,
they beamed and said what a proud and handsome guy he was.
No one was scared,
no one backed away, the kids would just slowly walk away with smiles
from ear to ear, calling "Bye Caemon, thanks for the ride, Merry Christmas"....
We look forward to
helping out the Alberta Newfie club anytime they call, we have been
left with a standing invite to come along to all the parades and
carting functions in the future. |
