My name is Rachel Wallace and I live in Mississauga, ON with my husband, Scott,
our daughter Danielle, and our Rottie little girl, Maggie.
Scott and I rescued Maggie in 2002. She had had 4 different homes by the time she came to us at 6 months. We fell in love with her immediately and she is a source of constant, never-ending love and affection. Like a true “mama”, I brag about her every chance I get!
I’ve always been an animal lover, and I have a special soft spot for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I was first introduced to this breed in 1999 when I moved in with a roommate who was a member of the RCC. I met her “best boy”, a very handsome, very gentle male Rottweiler. Through my roommate, I met several special people dedicated to the breed. I learned about the RCC, the REAL breed standard, CKC Specialties, German-Style Sieger Shows and Awards, Obedience and Agility, Breed Specific Legislation, and Rescue organizations.
As a volunteer, I help by managing the RCC merchandise that is available for sale. See “official RCC Merchandise” link.
As the Membership
Chairperson, I handle the yearly RCC membership renewals, as well as welcome any
new members throughout the year. I am also part of a team that organizes the annual RCC Niagara Sieger Show in Niagara-on-the-Lake held at the end of summer. It is a lot of work, but also, it is so much fun to socialize with and learn from other Rottweiler lovers.
I sincerely hope that Rottweilers will be around for a very long time for all of us to enjoy.
