Judges Bio:
Carol Woodward - Von Siegerhaus Rottweilers

 

Since 1963, Carol has participated in the sport of purebred dogs as an owner, exhibitor (conformation, obedience, Schutzhund), breeder, trainer, professional handler and judge.  She is known for her von Siegerhaus Kennels.  Producing and/or owning over 100 Champions and many more obedience titled Rottweilers.  Her early history with Rottweilers is well recorded in such books as The Professional Book of Rottweilers by Anna K. Nicholas and her puppies are in just about any American written Rottweiler book you can get your hands on.  Von Siegerhaus Rottweilers has had a dog or bitch in the ARC Top 10 conformation listing nearly every year from 1974 through 1998.  Many years having more than one on the Top 10 list; with the highest being 5 in one year between bitches and males.

Some of her more famous dogs are Int'l/Am/Can/Mex Ch Quick von Siegerhaus CDX, Sch I.  He was a Gold Producer, ARC Top 10, and a Kennel Review Top Producer.  His son, Am/Can Ch Amos von Siegerhaus CGC was also an ARC Top 10 and a Gold Producer.  Also Am/Can Ch Zana von Siegerhaus who in 1989 was the top winning bitch of all time coming in #2 dog in points behind the very famous "Nelson".  Carol's puppies are still winning Top 10 awards as this year her breeding Xanadu Xrated von Siegerhaus CD, HS, HIAs, HXAs was #7 in Herding.

Carol has judged Sweepstakes at many Rottweiler Club Specialties including the US National Specialty; Golden State Rottweiler Club Specialty; and the ARC Region III Specialty in Alburquerque , NM.  She is looking forward to judging Canada's best at the Canadian Specialty in 2003!"
