The Rottweiler Club of Canada is a member of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and the International Federation of Rottweiler Friends (IFR) and is recognized by both as the National Breed Club for Rottweilers in Canada. Our Club mandate is to educate the Rottweiler Fancier, from the average pet owner to the most avid show, obedience or Schutzhund competitor. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible breeding and ownership. Our members are required to sign and abide by our Code of Ethics (COE). The purpose of our COE is to ensure the improvement of our chosen breed. We are committed to keeping our members informed on health, regulatory and legislative issues concerning the Rottweiler as well as keeping track of events across Canada that might be of interest to you. We do this by offering our members a quarterly newsletter, a frequently updated website and an e-mail list from which to receive the most current updates.
Whichever it may be, we invite you to see what the RCC can offer you. By joining, you will have a say in how the RCC promotes and safeguards our breed. As a member, you also have the ability to help bring shows, trials and public education events to your area under the umbrella of the RCC. We hope you will consider joining.
