Neil and Loraine Jesse of Rothburg Perm. Reg'd Rottweilers are thrilled to announce that Bronte achieved her CGN (Canine Good Neighbour title) with her Daddy handling her. We were especially proud of Bronte, because the demo dog in the test was snarling at her. Bronte totally ignored the bad behaviour of the other dog, as expected by Neil. This did give an extra notch for our breed.  Bronte is formally known as CH Dexsan Aloisia CGN. We will be adding more titles, when Bronte gets into shape from having her puppies.

Yes another Ravenscrest Magic litter puppy finishes his Am Ch!! Burton -whose achievements going back to back BW majors at the Northstar Specialty in Minnesota last year still has us reeling .. and has not been shown in the US since, was out again this week and finished in fine style with his 3rd big major- and a total of 17 points in all. Burton returns to the home of his beloved Jason to enjoy his pursuits in agility and awaits his first litter - to be born this week in the US from a lovely titled German import bitch "Gina" -owned by Suzanne Eikanger Stoops

It has been so busy First off want to thank Jackie & Jim Can and RCC for the wonderful Seiger show event they recently hosted in Calgary.First Class wonderfully organized truly a great job ! Hard to believe it was their first show!!!!!!!!! I was thrilled to have both my dogs do so well at the show. My young girl Luka was Youth Seigren and her Sire Alex was V1 in the Champion class.. Luka has now been awarded Youth Seigren 3 times.

Prior to attending the Calgary Seiger show I attended the USRC Nationals in Portland with Alex and Luka. Once again it was a thriller with Alex and Luka both winning the top awards by garnering the top awards by winning the " USRC National Adult Male Select and National Youth Seigren. Awards."

Luka also just finished her American Championship in May owner handled, and followed up the next day with back to back Multi BOB wins. It was kind of fun to win BOB in the States and hop back across the border to at a RCC regional Speciality weekend win BOB once more.

Luka finished 4 majors in 2 weekends and a BISw at MHRC.Two of the 4 weekends were owner handled. . AS well Luka just received her first group placement in Canada a couple of weeks ago.. Luka just turned 21 months old. Not to be forgotten for a retired dog Alex has been very busy having recently just completed his BST and is now USRC Bronze Eligible. To finish this very long brag Luka also won the very large Am Bred Class at ARC Nationals in Missouri this year!!

It is with great pleasure and proudness that I announce that Logan obtained his SECOND Best in Show yesterday in Laramie, WY under respected judge Mrs. Tomas Gomez. I would also like to thank Logan's sidekick/handler, Mr. Richard Mysliwiec Jr.. Without his excellent handling skills, Logan would not be where he is today. A sincere thanks also goes out to Mrs. Nancy Simmons who was the Breed and Group Judge. Without her picking my boy for Breed and a Group 1, he would not have had the chance to be in the BIS ring.

Logan is currently ranked in the United States as #2 All Breed Rottweiler and #6 Breed (stats as at end of April/05).

A HUGE thank you goes out to his breeders: Debbie Haynes and Janna Morgan. Thank you for breeding Quantum and Duke and entrusting me with Logan. I hope we have lived up to your every expectation and perhaps exceeded them.

Logan is now known as:
Multi BIS, BISS, BPISS, Multi AOM, Multi V-Rated, Multi Group Placing, VVN1, 2003 MHRC Independent Sieger Show "Most Beautiful Male Puppy", UCI BBE BIS, Am/Can/UCI Int'l CH Maplemor ARU The One v Evrmor, TDX, CD, RN, CS, TT, CGC, ARC Versatility Dog, RCC Hall of Fame

Phew that is quite a mouthfull. I also want to share that Logan is the only dog ranked in the Top Ten on the show circuit in the US with an advanced working title. So nice to see a versatile dog that can both work and show. I am extra proud of that fact. While he is busy showing he is also busy obtaining those working titles as well. Hard to do both but he is more than capable and happy to do both. His next great accomplishment will be to earn his VST making him a Champion Tracker and the first ever Rottweiler to be a CT with a BIS. Fingers are crossed that we find a trial that we can get into.

Well thanks for letting me share this wonderful news with all of you.
Logan's very proud Mom - Gwen Haynes, Calgary, AB - Canada

Just thought I would send out a quick brag. This is a little late but, Fiddler and I went to the US National Speciality in St Louis this past April. He was entered in carting and the Best of Breed competition. After only having had a cart on him three times and only having weight on the cart once he not only placed 1st in his class but managed to achieve the third highest score of all the dogs entered. His score was 94 out of 100! In the breed competition in spite of being owner handled managed to get Select over some amazing dogs and their handlers!! This past weekend in Chilliwack at the Regional Speciality again in spite of being owner handled received the one and only Award of Merit.

In saying all the above we now have the honour of calling Fiddler the following:
Multi V1,Multi BISS,ARC Select,Multi AOM,Multi Group Winning, Am/Cdn Ch BAAR's Fiddleronthewoof V Wyndhurst HT,CS,HIC,TT,CGC,Multi USRC Select,ARV Youth Sieger.

My new puppy Ravenscrest Somelikeithot whom I co-own with Pamela Boles and Andrew Schroeder also made the trip to St Louis and placed a respectable 4th out of 28 in the 6-9 puppy female class. This little girl is doing well in Canada also as she has already earned 4 points at the tender age of 6 months.

My guy '05 NWR SchH CH Multi V2 CH Nightshadow Logan of Briarpatch, SchH 3, ABST, BH, AD, CD, TD, USRC Silver Merit, RCC Hall of Fame & Versatility Award, 2002 #9 in Canada 2002 (breed/all breed/obedience) passed his ABST/Korung at the 2005 USRC Nationals on May 13th in Woodburn, Oregon under Judge Erich Konigsberger (FCI-OES). Logan was bred by Lucy Ang and Susan Sealing. Thanks Lucy for giving me this special dog as a 10 week old puppy. Logan is now the 2nd Rottweiler in Canada to achieve the ABST/Korung. Logan is co-owned by Lucy. Logan is from Multi V-1 Benno von der Busemuhle,Sch 3, IPO 3, FH, AD, Gekort, 2000 USRC National Sieger, 2000 & 2001 USRC SW Regional Sieger & 2001, 2002 & 2003 USRC NW Regional Sieger x Multi V1, 2005 SE REgional Siegerin Nightshadow INXS vom Mize, SchH I, BST, BH, AD, CD, CGC, TT. The ABST/Korung is an advanced breed survey test and is quite a bit harder compared to the BST/Ztp. One of the prerequisites is males must be SchH 3. The only other Rottweiler in Canada with the ABST/Korung is my retired female Echo (she placed V3 in the veteran class).

WOW, our brag is no where near the one posted for Logan by his proud mom Gwen (Congratulations again Gwen), but we did have a GREAT weekend at the Edmonton Kennel Club show on the weekend of April 22-24 for our furry kids!! At EKC last weekend two more of the 7 month old EternalFire A Litter pups (Multi V Rated, AOM, Select 1 Ch Rothburg's Kourage Under Fire CDX, DD, TT, HIC, CGC, Am CD, CS, CI x Ch Motia's Jellybean Jenna Lutz CCGC) became CKC pointed!!

On Friday at EKC, I had pleasure of showing Dennis (EternalFire's AbsoluteMischief) to Reserve Winner's Dog and his sister Cajen (EternalFire's A Ragin Hotsauce to Reserve Winner's Bitch. Their mom Jenna took Best of Opposite Sex!! On Saturday at EKC, I again showed Dennis and he took his first points by taking Winner's Dog for 2 points against an entry of 5 class males, and his sister Caper (EternalFire's A Mystery Solved) was handled by Peggy Mignon and Lisa Hubenig to Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners for an additional 3 points to land on 9 points towards her championship. Lisa and Caper then went back into the ring and took Best Puppy against 2 Specials male puppies!! Other sister Cajen went Reserve Winner's bitch......but it gets better....with an entry of 16 rottweilers their mom Jenna goes Best of Breed!! On Sunday I was thrilled to be able to handle Cajen to her first points by taking a 2 point win for Winner's Bitch owner handled. Jenna went Best of Opposite Sex again.

I couldn't be more thrilled with how these youngsters are doing at such a young age and couldn't be more excited at how these babies are developing into such lovely representatives of the breed!! We look forward to possibly introducing our first home bred champion sometime shortly.

Thanks so much for letting me share!! Heather Peters

Hello Everyone

It is with extreme pleasure and proudness that I annouce that Logan won a BIS this past weekend in Arkansas under esteemed judge Mr. Joe Gregory. There was extremely stiff competition in the working group with the top ranking dogs of the country there. Mrs. Annie Clark awarded Logan with the Group 1 and then Logan went on to win the BIS that day over several top ranking dogs of other breed groups.

Logan also won another Group 1 the following day but alas the BIS was won by a top winning cocker spaniel. I had always hoped that one day I would be so fortunate as to own a dog that would win a BIS. I am so pleased, elated and overjoyed to have been so fortunate as to have my very first Rottweiler be a dream come true. I owe this all to his wonderful breeders - Debbie Haynes and Janna Morgan. This is the first BIS for both Maplemor Rottweilers and Evrmor Rottweilers.

Logan has only been on the show circuit since January 2005 - he has done so much in such a short period of time (not even three yrs. old yet). He stills finds time to earn more working titles while he is on the road. My next dream for Logan is to earn his CT (Champion Tracker) title - THE SKY IS THE LIMIT FOR THIS BOY AND HIS MOM!!!!

Logan is now known as:
BIS, BISS, UCI BIS BBE, AOM, BPISS, Multi Group Placing, Multi V-Rated, Am/Can/UCI Int'l CH Maplemor ARU The One v Evrmor, TDX, CD, CS, RN, TT, CGC, RCC Hall of Fame, ARC Versatility Dog

Thank you so much for letting me brag - I am still on Cloud 9 and don't plan on coming off for a long time.
A very humble and proud Mom - Gwen Haynes, Calgary, AB

We have an enormous brag-- and one we believe is a first for a Canadian bred rottweiler. Kobe went to the US and was handled by Perry Payson winning back to back majors in the big Louisiana Ky shows AND THEN at the 2005 American Rottweiler Club National Specialty,at St Louis, Missouri, he won the very competitive Open class and then was awarded Winners Dog,( handled by Perry Payson) and then Best of Winners and Select -- all over hundreds of the finest rottweilers in the US. Kobe was handled to the latter awards by breeder Pamela Boles . These wins were awarded by renowned breeder judge Joe Hedl. Earlier in the week Kobe passed his TT and placed 2nd in the Carting Started class-adding that title to his name . Kobe is the 2nd Am Ch from our Magic litter. The first being Am Ch Ravenscrest Black Magic CGC TDI.

Kobe is now:
Select AOM Am Can Ch Ravenscrest The Talisman CD CS TT CGC HIC Not to be out of the running, our 6 months old puppy girl , Sugar,( Ravenscrest Somelikeithot) who already has 4 CKC points placed 4th in a class of 28 entries at the ARC National

Just wanted to send out a brag for Ali's Mom, Mary Zapeda (who lives in Phoenix, AZ) that her little girl BOSS Am. CH Maplemor's Ali v Evrmor, CGC, TDI went WB, BOW on Sat. and WB on Sun. for her first 5 points (at least I think it is 5) towards her Can. CH. This was Ali's first set of shows on Canadian soil. She is a ball of fun to show and loves to move in that ring!!!

Thanks for letting me brag.

Our rising star, "Logan", (BISS, AOM, Am/Can/UCI Int'l CH Maplemor ARU The One v Evrmor TDX,CD,CGC, RCC Hall of Fame, ARC Versatility eligible ) expertly handled by Rich Mysliwiec, Jr. took the Mile High Rottweiler Club Specialty BISS at 2 1/2 years of age and then obtained two legs towards his Rally title with his mum Gwen Haynes on the lead. With over 100 Rott weilers entered this was a huge boost to Logan's year on the road ( currently ranked #10 All Breed/Breed in the US (end of January results) ).........not to be out done, his sister "Ali" ( BOSS, Am CH Maplemor Ali v Evrmor TDI,CGC ) handled by myself, took BOSS. Ali and her mum Mary Zepeda also took a first place in Novice A with her the same day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a spectacular win, a first we believe, for the club to have the same litter, brother and sister take both awards on the same day............their mother "Quantum" (Multi AOM, multi V-rated Am/Can/UCI Nat'l CH Wyndhurst Quantum Leap to Evrmor CDX, Can CD, TD, NJP,NAP,HT,PT,BH,AD,CI,CGC,TT, KMA, AKC VCD1 - 2003 Top Ten ARC Bitch, MRC Hall of Fame, ARC Silver Producer eligible, ARC Versatility eligible and 2004 Pedigree Top Producing Bitch) took Brood Bitch with Logan and Ali and then went and got her first leg toward her OJP with a placement at the 600 dog agility trial :-)))). The new kid on the block Maplemor Bringiton to Evrmor (an 8 month old Quantum daughter) won her 6-9 month regular class and placed second in Sweeps that day............

We wish Gwen and "Ali" great success as they embark on their adventure to obtain Ali's Canadian CH..............

Qualicum Rottweilers had a tremendous 3 day show weekend in Portland at the Rose City Classic sponsored by Eukanuba. It is one of the largest shows on the west coast with and entry of about 2500 dogs each day.

Saturday
Not only was Luka was WB BOW she also went BOS to her DAD, Alex giving her a second major in 2 shows. Alex was BOB over Shaka Zulu whom was the (#1 All Breed AKC #4 AKC Working Group in AKC 2004). The Eukanuba Rose City Classic will be on TV on Animal Planet April 26th at 5pm ( just in the States) and there might be a bit of Alex on it.

Sunday Even more news
Alex completed his Novice A with another High in Class Luka went WB for her 3rd major is just 3 shows and Alex went BOB and then on to a Group 4th! that had about 500 dogs in the Working Group.
